Sportsmanship Social Skills Behavior Intervention Activities

This Sportsmanship toolkit is a tier 2/tier 3 behavior intervention for teaching and practicing social skills with students who struggle with maintaining positive peer relationships.

It’s a good fit for early intervention, small-group or 1:1 sessions, prepping a student for Check In/Check Out or self-monitoring, or as a proactive response after an office referral or ISS.

What’s included:

• Instructional pages for 3rd-5th grade and a social narrative for K-2nd
• Roll-and-respond prompts and scenario discussion cards
• Practice worksheets: anchor chart, finish-the-sentence, comic strip, action plan
• Task cards (great for a sand tray or paired with a board/card game)
• Student desk reminders and staff lanyard cards for reinforcement
• Progress monitoring and positive reinforcement pages
