Referrals

Referrals are the processes used to identify student concerns and connect students with appropriate supports. This may include referring a student for school counseling services, additional school-based interventions, or evaluation, as well as connecting families with community resources or outside providers when needs extend beyond the school setting. A clear referral process helps ensure concerns are addressed consistently, efficiently, and at the appropriate level of support.
