Motivational Interviewing
Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative approach that helps people work through ambivalence and find their own motivation for change. It uses open-ended questions, reflective listening, and encouragement to help clarify goals and next steps. Rather than persuading, the counselor helps the person identify their own reasons for making changes.
