About The Responsive Counselor

When Sara started out as an elementary school counselor in Nashville back in 2012, she found a dusty pile of counseling resource books in her office. After trying unsuccessfully to make the lessons and activities work for her students, she started creating them herself and becoming responsive to the actual needs of her school and students. After seeing tremendous growth from her students, Sara started blogging about her lessons and ideas as The Responsive Counselor!
