MTSS and Behavior Support
Behavior Momentum
Behavior momentum is a strategy used to increase the likelihood of a desired behavior by first giving a few simple tasks the student is likely to complete successfully. Once the student has completed those easier tasks, a more challenging or less preferred task is introduced. Starting with success makes it more likely the student will follow through with the next request.
